Changing the Dialogue

Herbert E. Meyer has written an excellent, thoughtful piece. Changing the dialogue with our friends and neighbors is crucial. It is clear that ominous events await our futures' should we continue on this course.

Let's stop talking to voters as though they were children who need to be cajoled into eating their vegetables.  Let's change the political culture itself by talking to voters as adults responsible for dealing with their problems -- or not dealing with their problems, if that's their choice...
